Kaitlin Bigelow

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Kaitlin is a licensed funeral director and embalmer who has been serving families since 2021. A native Vermonter, she grew up north in Franklin County and relocated to Rutland in 2024 after the birth of her son, David.

She is a graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and brings both technical skill and genuine compassion to her work. Kaitlin believes deeply in the value of embalming and the opportunity it provides for families to say a meaningful, in-person goodbye to their loved one.

Her approach is centered on personalization, taking the time to understand each individual and create services that truly reflect their life. Kaitlin entered the funeral profession with a clear purpose: to care for others in the way she would want her own family to be cared for.

Outside of her work, she enjoys listening to music and attending concerts whenever she can.
